Role overview
This Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure role centers on building and maintaining the systems that power Zoo’s platform. The work spans backend, infrastructure, and system-level engineering, with a focus on reliability, automation, and scalability. The position suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, developing automation, and addressing challenges across the technology stack, including occasional frontend work.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain core systems and services to support platform reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Create automation and tools to reduce operational overhead and improve developer workflows.
- Develop integrations with external platforms, including billing, CRM, authentication, and analytics systems.
- Enhance monitoring, observability, and alerting to improve operational visibility across services.
- Architect and maintain infrastructure components such as distributed services, data pipelines, and deployment automation.
- Contribute to security-related systems, including permissions controls and access flow management.
