About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance our growing Cloud Platform and marketplace. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a high-traffic, rapidly evolving platform while receiving mentorship from seasoned engineers. You will work at scale, leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies to support Poshmark's expansion.
Responsibilities
Develop applications and services utilizing distributed cloud architecture, incorporating NoSQL data solutions, queueing technologies, and search infrastructure.
Design and implement innovative product features for the marketplace, employing a data-driven and iterative methodology.
Enhance, tune, and analyze core components of the Poshmark product and cloud platform that facilitate millions of e-commerce transactions.
Collaborate closely with product and customer support teams to drive meaningful impacts on our expanding business.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Strong foundation in computer science principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant software engineering experience through professional projects or internships.
Familiarity with Amazon AWS or other cloud computing platforms is preferred.
Proficiency in any combination of: Ruby, JRuby, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Linux.
