The Connectors team at ClickHouse is essential in bridging our powerful database with the wider data ecosystem. We develop and maintain connectors that ensure ClickHouse is accessible to millions of developers and data practitioners globally. Our work includes everything from low-level database integrations to high-level data visualization plugins, ensuring seamless integration with widely used tools.
Our team is responsible for official data connectors such as Kafka, dbt, Spark, Flink, Beam, and Fivetran, alongside integrations with leading visualization platforms like Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, and Metabase.
Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in JVM-based frameworks, you will play a pivotal role in ClickHouse's Data Engineering ecosystem. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining and enhancing the performance of our data frameworks, impacting how companies manage vast datasets.
You will oversee the complete lifecycle of data framework integrations, including the core database driver capable of processing billions of records per second, as well as SDKs and connectors that facilitate a native experience for JVM-based applications. Your work will not only involve coding but also building foundational tools that empower Data Engineers in their critical data tasks.
By collaborating closely with the open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise users, you will help establish our JVM integrations as benchmarks for performance and reliability.
