The Connectors team is crucial in linking ClickHouse with the broader data ecosystem. We develop and maintain the essential connectors that make ClickHouse accessible to millions of developers and data practitioners globally. Our work ranges from low-level database integrations to high-level data visualization plugins, ensuring smooth integration with tools our users are already familiar with.
Our responsibilities include overseeing the official data connectors (Kafka, dbt, Spark, Flink, Beam, Fivetran) and integrations with leading visualization platforms such as Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, and Metabase.
Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer focused on JVM-based frameworks, you will be a key contributor, taking ownership of and maintaining vital aspects of ClickHouse's data engineering ecosystem. This position lies at the intersection of high-performance database engineering and developer experience, where you will create tools that empower Data Engineers to exploit ClickHouse's remarkable speed and scalability.
Your responsibilities will encompass the entire lifecycle of data framework integrations—from the core database driver that handles billions of records per second to SDKs and connectors that integrate ClickHouse seamlessly into JVM-based applications. This role goes beyond coding; you will be laying the groundwork that thousands of Data Engineers depend on for their most critical data workloads.
Your contributions will have a direct impact on how companies manage massive datasets, facilitating real-time analytics platforms that ingest millions of events per second and observability systems that monitor global infrastructure. You will work closely with the open-source community, internal teams, and enterprise users to ensure our JVM integrations set the benchmark for performance, reliability, and user satisfaction.
