About the Role
The Platform team is responsible for the infrastructure, tools, and engineering systems that our product teams rely on. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on Developer Productivity, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering our engineering teams by enhancing our deployment frequency, fortifying our testing infrastructure, and constructing the framework for an AI-integrated development lifecycle.
This role is critical and cross-functional; you will collaborate closely with the Platform and product engineering teams to diagnose and resolve developer challenges and deployment obstacles, ensuring sustained improvements and elevating the overall code quality.
What You'll Do
- Enhance our testing infrastructure , Develop and refine patterns, frameworks, and tools for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing across services.
- Manage the CI/CD pipeline , Design, implement, and continuously optimize build, test, and deployment pipelines to significantly increase our deployment frequency.
- Empower engineering , Identify and eliminate bottlenecks, standardize best practices, and enhance the daily developer experience company-wide.
- Promote reliability and observability , Establish service level objectives (SLOs), alerting, and monitoring across the platform; leverage data and automation to inform decisions regarding system health and engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams , Partner with product, engineering, and security teams to integrate safety, reliability, and scalability into daily development practices.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to the role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure as code.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
