What You'll Do

We are on the lookout for a seasoned Developer Relations Engineer to join our team to support EOS Anti-Cheat (commonly known as Easy Anti-Cheat). In this pivotal role, you will act as a vital technical liaison between our internal engineering teams and external partners, assisting in the integration, troubleshooting, and optimization of Anti-Cheat within their projects. Your responsibilities will include in-depth technical problem-solving, analyzing crash dumps, debugging low-level C/C++ code, and providing actionable solutions and insights. You will play a key role in guiding design decisions for Anti-Cheat, contributing to technical documentation, and maintaining effective communication both internally and externally. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, tactful, and empathetic, possessing strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders with varying expertise. You should be adept at working independently as well as collaboratively, with outstanding time management and multitasking skills.

In this role, you will

  • Troubleshoot complex integration and operational challenges involving Anti-Cheat, analyzing crash dumps, logs, and call stacks to determine root causes.
  • Collaborate directly with external game developers and internal teams to promptly and effectively resolve technical issues.
  • Debug and reproduce customer issues, documenting and communicating findings clearly both internally and externally.
  • Represent Epic Games during asynchronous and live support, as well as at trade shows like UEFest and customer visits.
  • Create and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation, tutorials, and guides to support partner integration.
  • Advocate for the successful integration and ongoing use of Anti-Cheat by partners.
