Senior Software Engineer - Hardware Integration (f/m/d)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Yearly Salary: €70,000 - €75,000 (fixed range, annual gross)

Stock Options: €20,000 - €40,000

Benefits: Up to €5,000 annually

Work Model: Full-Time, Hybrid (Munich, Germany)

Your Role

You will be responsible for developing edge software that ensures the seamless integration of industrial hardware, including MRI systems and automation peripherals. Your technical skills will play a crucial role in maintaining high code quality and implementing scalable, robust, AI-powered imaging solutions.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Develop and optimize software for edge devices, ensuring smooth integration with automation hardware and MRI systems.

  • Maintain reliable communication with automation systems and MRI devices using technologies like TCP, OPC-UA, Modbus, PLCs, and industrial PCs.

  • Design scalable software solutions, manage Python code, develop automated tests, and oversee CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with hardware suppliers to define APIs, ensuring device compatibility and optimizing interfaces for better hardware-software interactions.

  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure successful integrations and troubleshoot any emerging issues.
