Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer II in the Real Time Operations team at Axon, you will play a crucial role in shaping the architecture of our Vehicle Intelligence and Automatic License Plate Recognition (ALPR) products. You possess a deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and full-stack services that prioritize high availability and consistent performance. Your enthusiasm for cutting-edge open-source technologies, combined with your system design expertise, will enable you to make informed technical decisions that ensure operational resilience.

With your ability to balance competing engineering trade-offs and your empathy for user needs, you will craft innovative solutions to customer challenges. Collaborating closely with product managers and designers, you will ensure that we deliver the right solutions for our customers. Additionally, your passion for mentoring will help elevate the skills of the engineers around you.
