We are looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and support of the CAST Front Office application, designed for embedded Linux and Android platforms within customer settings. This position blends hands-on coding with technical leadership, production support, and mentorship duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and sustain secure, scalable, and reusable software solutions for embedded Linux and Android environments.
- Provide technical leadership in architectural design discussions, working alongside the Team Lead and Principal Engineer on technical direction and delivery strategies.
- Facilitate and actively engage in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Uphold high standards of code quality through peer reviews, best practices, and automated testing strategies.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical support.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents promptly to guarantee system stability and customer satisfaction.
- Integrate software with first and third-party hardware in real-time, device-based environments.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
