In this role, you will be expected to:Design and implement robust backend systems that support both user-facing applications (like Dawn) and essential protocol components.Architect scalable and resilient services, including APIs, stateful services, and blockchain data pipelines capable of handling real-world demands.Drive significant architectural enhancements to the codebase while establishing best practices in our evolving organization.Mentor team members to elevate long-term architecture and code quality.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a systems engineer, designing and managing production services with real traffic, preferably in finance, trading, or blockchain sectors.In-depth knowledge of distributed systems, data modeling, and network architecture — with a focus on latency, throughput, and fault tolerance.Proficiency in at least one strongly-typed backend programming language (Rust, Go, or C++) and comfortable navigating various frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure.A genuine interest in bitcoin, blockchains, and onchain finance.Nice to HavesExperience utilizing stablecoins and/or bitcoin in your everyday transactions.Background in developing low-latency systems for trading.
