Position Overview:
The Key-Value Engine lies at the heart of Couchbase's architecture, managing data storage and operations with minimal latency and high scalability. It supports intra- and cross-cluster replication to ensure high availability and document replication to downstream clients.
As a member of our elite team, you will focus on enhancing performance and scalability. You'll tackle challenges such as developing a more flexible protocol, optimizing caching mechanisms, creating richer data structures, and enhancing distributed transaction capabilities. Proficiency in C++ (and occasionally C), along with familiarity with Golang, Erlang, and Python, will be essential as you work on solutions that maximize hardware and kernel performance.
