Role Overview Speechify is hiring a Platform Software Engineer to help develop and maintain our backend services. This role focuses on systems such as payments, analytics, subscriptions, and APIs. Platform engineers at Speechify play a key part in shaping product design and delivering strong user experiences. We operate with a flat structure that values technical leadership and consistent results. Strong communication, a solid work ethic, and initiative are important in our team culture. The interview process includes several technical interviews, all completed within a week. What You Will Do Design, build, and maintain APIs, including our public TTS API and internal APIs for payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking, while meeting business and scalability needs. Oversee backend API architecture with a focus on performance and maintainability. Collaborate on B2B solutions, handling customization and integration for enterprise clients.
