ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with extensive knowledge in networking, protocols, and system architecture to construct and manage sophisticated simulation environments. These environments facilitate experimentation with network operations and security testing in controlled settings. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and operating realistic virtual machine environments that accurately represent various systems, networks, and behaviors.
As a specialist in simulation and emulation, you will be responsible for architecting complex network topologies and building representative system configurations. This role requires both exceptional software engineering skills and a profound understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and the behavioral characteristics of diverse platforms.
Embracing a "Whatever It Takes" mindset, you will need strong development skills in C/C++ or Python, along with hands-on experience in network engineering, virtualization technologies, and a deep understanding of system behavior in operational contexts.
