About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer on our Playback Telemetry and Observability team, you will report directly to the Director of Engineering - Playback Engineering. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the Playback Quality of Experience (QoE) for our fans. You will ensure data consistency across all platforms for accurate playback performance comparisons. With a strong emphasis on Near Real-Time Metrics, you will identify and prioritize key QoE metrics to offer immediate insights into the fan experience. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve improving data ingestion and access pipelines and bolstering alerting and monitoring capabilities to proactively address playback issues. You will collaborate across various platforms, driving greater efficiency and intelligence within the Playback Engineering organization.
