Responsibilities
As a Senior Security Engineer at Statsig, you will be integral in fortifying our systems and executing robust security protocols. Your engineering prowess combined with security expertise will be pivotal in enhancing Statsig’s security framework.
Design, implement, and refine software architectures to mitigate security risks.
Lead key initiatives aimed at bolstering security operations through the development of clean, high-quality, and efficient code.
Create and sustain software solutions, including applications, database integrations, and new feature enhancements.
Assist in testing and deploying new products and features.
Engage in collaborative code reviews, upholding high standards of quality and best practices.
Adopt a generalist approach to security controls, blending varied technical skills and security knowledge to address dynamic challenges.
Participate in hands-on engineering and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001, FEDRAMP, etc.).
Candidate Profile
You excel in a dynamic, high-growth setting and are motivated to contribute to impactful projects that require scalability. You thrive in collaborative environments, particularly with large-scale applications and frameworks.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline preferred.
Over 5 years of experience in Software Engineering, Security Engineering, or a closely related field.
Deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities.
