With over ten million rides completed, our technology has autonomously driven more than 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions of miles in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.The Predictive Planning team (PrePlan) is responsible for crafting and implementing cutting-edge machine learning solutions that forecast future scenarios and dictate the Waymo Driver's actions. Our goal is to harness Waymo’s vast driving data to create robust, generalizable, and high-performing deep neural networks, allowing our autonomous vehicles to navigate intricate environments safely and efficiently.In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with our PrePlan team under the guidance of a dedicated manager, with the team assignment occurring post-on-site interviews.
