Role Overview: Senior Software Engineer (Java, AWS)
This position is based in Bangalore, India, on the Sophos Central Management (CM) Team. The team builds and maintains a cloud-based network security platform that manages tens of thousands of devices and clients. As a backend developer, the role focuses on designing and developing new features with an emphasis on security and scalability.
The Sophos CM team delivers a management solution for Sophos Firewalls, allowing customers to securely configure, monitor, and manage distributed firewall deployments. The team builds high-availability microservices that integrate with Sophos Central, providing enterprise-grade visibility and control. Work happens in an agile environment, with a focus on innovation in network security and cloud management.
