Our innovative web browser automatically blocks intrusive ads and trackers, features a private search engine with an independent index, and offers an opt-in private ad network that rewards users for their attention. Additionally, we have integrated AI capabilities within the browser to ensure that users' private data remains confidential. With over 110 million users and millions more joining each month, we are on a rapid growth trajectory.
In a world dominated by ads, hackers, and misinformation, Brave is standing up for the rights of users. Join our mission!
The Browser AI team is responsible for developing essential browser features and exploring how the unique nature of the browser can enhance AI experiences for research and creative tasks. Users can seamlessly integrate tabs, history, bookmarks, and files into AI conversations, allowing for a more personalized browsing experience. We are seeking a talented team member who can iterate on these concepts and craft exceptional user experiences. UI engineers will collaborate with other engineers to deliver end-to-end features or develop the skills to implement complete features independently.
Our UI engineering culture is vibrant and collaborative. We prioritize knowledge sharing and work closely with designers, utilizing internal design systems and various UI frameworks to make informed decisions as a team.
This role is situated at a thrilling intersection of web UI, browser internals, and AI innovations.
As a start-up, Brave adapts quickly to new information and circumstances, which means that project needs may evolve on short notice. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to influence these decisions as well as other aspects of the team.
Many engineers in this role at Brave initially come from a frontend or full-stack background and gradually transition into browser-level C++ feature work.
