Qualifications
Ideal Candidate Profile:
8 to 11 years of relevant experience in a customer-facing role, with 5 to 7 years in pre-sales within the enterprise software sector.
At least 3 years of experience with modern scripting languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or established programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, C#) in a professional context.
Proven experience in designing scalable and highly available distributed systems, both in cloud and on-premises environments.
Demonstrated capacity to collaborate with customers in evaluating complex architecture of existing applications, offering insights on enhancements through technology.
Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying sophisticated technical and business concepts in an engaging manner to both technology and business leaders.
Strategic mindset to work with sales teams, providing guidance on executing a multi-threaded account strategy and aligning MongoDB and ecosystem resources towards a shared account plan.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in selling databases and/or deploying applications with major cloud service providers.
Knowledge in database programming and data modeling.
Familiarity with data engineering or AI/ML initiatives.
Experience in modernizing legacy systems into efficient, scalable technology stacks.
Understanding of recognized sales methodologies/frameworks such as MEDDPICC and Command of the Message.
