Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Design and implement guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms for satellite systems, focusing on attitude and orbit determination and control, as well as precision pointing. Analyze spacecraft dynamics and conduct simulations to assess system performance, stability, and precision. Develop, test, and refine spacecraft control systems that include reaction wheels, thrusters, and magnetic torquers, ensuring alignment with mission objectives. Collaborate with engineers across spacecraft and payload teams to establish system requirements and guarantee the integration and compatibility of GNC systems. Perform trade studies and provide recommendations for optimal GNC configurations, factoring in power consumption, mass, and cost considerations. Create and execute testing plans and procedures for GNC systems, encompassing system-level testing, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting of anomalies. Interpret spacecraft telemetry data for diagnostics and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal operational functionality.
