As a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer, you will grasp the implications of features across databases, APIs, and interconnected services, even when tackling intricate topics like scheduling and NP-hard problems.
Your role will place you within our AI & Optimization Team, collaborating with knowledgeable colleagues who are supportive and unafraid to seek assistance. We value self-sufficiency and expect our true seniors to draft excellent initial designs independently.
You will work closely with Full Stack colleagues who will implement the algorithms and logic you create within our application.
Your contributions will be at the core of our application, as we continuously evolve our fundamental logic and algorithms to positively impact our customers' supply chains. The backend comprises a hybrid of simulation and optimization components, where you will extend our simulation engine, enhance performance, model new constraints, and more.
You will take ownership of a section of the simulation engine and have the authority to influence architectural decisions.
