BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in electrical power systems. Proven EPC design experience in large industrial power projects. Strong expertise in electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, and harmonic analysis. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers. Knowledge of safety risk assessments in operational contexts.

We are in search of a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer specializing in Grid Power to spearhead the development of connection specifications between Electric Hydrogen’s power systems and the medium voltage utility grid. This role involves overseeing all facets of electrical installation design, which includes collaborating with third-party EPCs and conducting internal design tasks. You will perform in-depth power systems analysis using advanced modeling and simulation software to assess critical system characteristics such as load and power flows, short circuit analysis, transient stability, and stability under various operational conditions.

This position is based onsite in San Jose, CA and reports directly to the Director of Power Platform.
