About the role
LeanTech is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer based in Pune, India. This position centers on building and scaling infrastructure that underpins the financial ecosystem across the MENA region. The role requires an experienced software engineer with a track record of solving complex technical problems. As a technical leader within the India payment team, this engineer will shape engineering practices, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with senior leadership to support LeanTech’s broader mission.
Key responsibilities
- Guide engineering teams in Pune by providing technical direction, reviewing code, and supporting backend, frontend, QA, CI/CD, and infrastructure projects.
- Collaborate with product managers to define product vision and recommend technical solutions for platform requirements.
- Utilize expertise in Java microservices, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Kafka within a cloud infrastructure environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues to ensure high reliability.
- Deliver technical solutions on schedule while upholding quality standards.
