Join MongoDB as a Senior Staff Engineer, where you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and managing our comprehensive Observability stack that serves both internal and external users. Our Observability stack is critical for monitoring database clusters, providing actionable alerts to protect vital workloads relied upon by tens of thousands of customers. You will contribute to a team responsible for the metrics, visualization, logging, tracing, and alerting systems that enhance the MongoDB platform's reliability and performance.
As the demand for high-cardinality observability data grows alongside MongoDB Atlas, you will innovate and scale our systems to handle immense data volumes, processing billions of metrics time series and petabytes of logs and events. Our technology stack features tools and languages such as VictoriaMetrics, Splunk, Flink, WarpStream/Kafka, Java, and Golang. You'll collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Site Reliability Engineers to promote best practices in service instrumentation and monitoring.
