Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with significant experience as a Full-Stack Engineer. Demonstrated expertise in NestJS and React or similar JavaScript frameworks, capable of leading architectural decisions for both front-end and back-end systems. Thorough understanding of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices. Extensive experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Advanced knowledge of database management, including schema design, performance optimization, indexing strategies, and data integrity practices (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Experience in optimizing data flow across the stack, including API design, caching strategies, and front-end rendering performance. Familiarity with front-end architecture patterns and state management.

We want you—a detail-oriented, inquisitive, and flexible Senior Staff Engineer—to architect and oversee the development of scalable, high-performance digital products across the entire technology stack. Your blend of profound technical knowledge and strong leadership will position you as a key technical resource across various teams, driving engineering excellence throughout our projects.

Your responsibilities will center on designing and refining robust full-stack architectures utilizing NestJS and React, deployed on AWS infrastructure. You will be instrumental in shaping technical decisions, leading architectural discussions, and ensuring that our solutions are secure, scalable, and maintainable. Additionally, you will assist teams in overcoming complex technical challenges and establishing best practices within the engineering organization. Your involvement will span all phases of product development, from front-end architecture and API design to database modeling, infrastructure, and deployment workflows. While you will remain hands-on as necessary, your role will also emphasize providing technical guidance, mentoring fellow engineers, and ensuring long-term architectural integrity across projects.

Daily tasks will include contributing to system architecture decisions, reviewing intricate technical implementations, guiding teams in designing scalable front-end and back-end solutions, enhancing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure practices, mentoring engineers, and proactively identifying opportunities to boost performance, reliability, and security across our platform.
