Position Overview:

We seek a highly skilled Mechanical Designer with substantial expertise in mechanical simulations and electromechanical integration. The ideal candidate will excel in designing robust, reliable systems compliant with MIL-STD-810 standards. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products withstand stringent environmental, vibration, and shock criteria while effectively integrating complex electromechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems to MIL-STD-810 specifications, guaranteeing robustness under vibration, shock, thermal, and environmental conditions.
  • Conduct mechanical simulations (FEA, modal, vibration, thermal) to evaluate design durability and reliability under operational stress.
  • Collaborate with electrical and systems engineers to integrate electromechanical components, ensuring seamless interaction between mechanical structures and electrical systems.
  • Lead structural integrity testing and analysis, confirming designs meet military-grade environmental test criteria.
  • Produce and document mechanical design specifications, including detailed drawings, simulation reports, and testing protocols.
  • Execute testing and validation to ensure mechanical designs meet requisite performance and safety standards.
  • Support prototype development and collaborate closely with manufacturing teams to ensure successful design implementation.
