Qualifications

Primary ResponsibilitiesOversee the research and design of high-power electronic systems tailored for hydrogen applications. Engineer power stages ranging from a few kW to tens of MW. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a small team of engineers, guiding new initiatives in power electronics. Design analog circuits, digital signals, PWMs, and GPIO interfaces. Design high-frequency magnetic components. Collaborate with fellow engineers on tasks related to control, testing, and circuit layout. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.8+ years of experience in power electronics systems design. Proficient in designing 600V and 1200V class switching power converters. Expertise in various power topologies, including AC-DC (PFC), isolated DC-DC, and DC-AC. Familiar with power semiconductor technologies, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SiC. Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and PSPICE. Proven track record in managing high power electronics projects. Knowledge of soft-switching and resonant topologies, along with experience in using GAN and SiC power components. Experience in taking products from concept through to manufacturing.

We are seeking a Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer to spearhead the development of innovative power electronics solutions. You will play a key role in creating new technologies that support the production of green hydrogen, transitioning projects from prototype to full-scale production.

This position is based at our San Jose, CA office, where you will directly report to the Director of Power and Electrical Engineering.
