Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a talented team of engineers, establishing clear goals and offering continuous feedback, coaching, and mentoring to foster growth and success.
- Collaborate with feature owners, economy specialists, live operations, and other development teams to implement feature simulations and technological pipelines for Monopoly GO!
- Drive the creation of systems that convert raw game data into analytical datasets for simulation and evaluation.
- Ensure technical performance remains “Best-in-Class” throughout the development process.
- Develop automated, high-quality tests (unit, integration, load, etc.) and work closely with QA teams to enhance gameplay experience, mitigate exploits, and ensure seamless functionality.
- Review Technical Design Documents and provide constructive feedback and guidance to fellow engineers.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with departments including economy, live operations, and QA.
- Participate in cultivating a robust engineering culture and team dynamic.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for live game operations.
- Contribute to technical planning and engage with stakeholders to clarify workflows and requirements.
- Implement tools that empower our live operations and game design teams to create engaging gameplay experiences.
- Explore AI-assisted tools (LLMs, copilots, automation frameworks) to enhance productivity, deepen analysis, and accelerate iteration cycles.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a professional game development team or a related field.
- Proven experience in team management, conducting 1:1s, performance reviews, and providing regular feedback to direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and execute complex, interdisciplinary technical developments.
