What You Will Achieve:Design and implement the next generation of observability platforms capable of supporting billions of active time series and processing petabytes of logs daily. Oversee infrastructure operations across nearly a hundred cloud regions, enabling all Databricks engineers and customers to monitor product reliability. Develop advanced workflows that speed up incident diagnosis for engineers, utilizing Databricks’ data intelligence platform to enhance troubleshooting practices industry-wide. Enhance monitoring and reliability practices throughout Databricks engineering by creating standardized tools for managing structured logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and on-call rotations. Mentor and elevate the skills of engineers, promoting a culture of technical excellence within the team and the broader observability community.
