Hands-on experience with major systems in one or more programming languages, demonstrating expertise in either frontend or backend development, particularly with modern frameworks if focused on the frontend.

Your role will involve crafting robust systems and user-friendly interfaces utilizing clean, well-tested code. You’ll work closely with fellow engineers in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural decisions, contributing to a high-quality engineering culture and ensuring scalability.

To excel in this position, you should possess strong technical expertise, a swift learning curve for new technologies, and exceptional problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills are essential as you will collaborate with stakeholders, work across teams, and mentor your peers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • 30% - Development: Engage in coding, conduct code reviews, resolve complex bugs, participate in peer programming, respond to incidents, and tackle reverse-engineering tasks.

  • 30% - Planning & Architecture: Collaborate on project estimations, work closely with product teams, and help establish MVPs.

  • 30% - Learning & Teaching: Participate in chapter reviews, conduct research and meetups, and mentor developers to enhance their skills over time.

  • 10% - Enabling: Work on shared libraries, contribute to open-source initiatives, and help define and document best practices within your team.

Additionally, you'll be part of a collaborative team working towards broader organizational goals, even when it involves tasks beyond your immediate role.
