About the Role
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will take charge of designing and enhancing our cutting-edge claims and payment processing systems within our distributed team. Your innovative work will cover a wide range of challenges, including contract and pricing configuration, system extensibility through our proprietary Domain-Specific Language (DSL), and optimizing data pipeline architecture for greater efficiency. You will leverage artificial intelligence to tackle complex problems, automating and refining processes that were previously labor-intensive and prone to errors. Your primary focus will be on constructing scalable and dependable systems that uphold the accuracy and efficiency of our claims and payment workflows.
You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering.
Work Location: This position will be based out of our New York City office, following a hybrid work model that requires three days in the office each week. Thursdays will be dedicated to in-office team meetings and events, while the other two office days will be flexible based on your schedule. #LI-Hybrid
Pay Transparency:
The base salary for this role ranges from $192,000 to $252,000 annually. In addition, you will be entitled to employee benefits, access to Oscar's unlimited vacation policy, company equity grants, and performance-based annual bonuses.
