Join us as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Steadily, where you will play a pivotal role in developing user-friendly web applications and service-oriented architectures that serve as the backbone of our technology stack. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Austin, TX.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Craft a seamless purchasing experience for our insurance products that is intuitive enough for even the least tech-savvy users to navigate effortlessly across all devices and platforms.

  • Innovate solutions for customers to document damages efficiently, streamlining the claims process regardless of their access method.

  • Design sophisticated rating engines that accurately assess insurance policy costs.

  • Integrate property intelligence APIs to identify and flag risks associated with floods, fires, and vandalism.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Seasoned Professional: You bring substantial experience and can navigate complex codebases with ease. Prior experience in a leadership role is advantageous.

  • Innovative Builder: You have a passion for the product side of engineering and possess insightful opinions on user experience design. You thrive on creating solutions rather than merely executing pre-defined specs.
