The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited four-year institution. Registered Engineer, preferably licensed in the state of Tennessee. Ability to acquire professional engineering registration in multiple states. A minimum of ten years of experience as a structural engineer in consulting services. Proven experience utilizing Revit and other design software effectively.

We are currently in search of a Senior Structural Engineer with robust design experience who is eager to contribute to our growing team at our Franklin office. The ideal candidate will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver engineering design for structural engineering projects.
  • Oversee and support all phases of structural engineering projects, including design development, preparation of presentation drawings and specifications, reports, design review, and construction drawing coordination.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure the design intent is effectively integrated into construction documentation and specifications.
  • Engage with project managers and design teams during construction, providing responses to inquiries, clarifications, site visits, issue resolution, and review of submittals and shop drawings.
  • Establish and nurture strong professional relationships with clients, regulators, and agencies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting notes, financial records, client communications, and project schedules.
  • Prepare technical documents and ensure accuracy through Quality Assurance reviews at various project phases.
  • Contribute to planning, cost development, and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Participate in marketing and business development initiatives, including the creation of project proposals and offering technical expertise.
