Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural focus (Master’s preferred). Active PE license is essential. Minimum of 8 years of structural engineering experience, predominantly in building design. Demonstrated expertise in managing multi-disciplinary building projects and coordinating consultant teams. Robust knowledge of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design principles. Experience with national codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, NDS, and TMS specifications. Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, RAM, RISA, SAFE, alongside familiarity with drafting tools used by production teams. Exhibited leadership skills with a background in mentoring junior engineers. Excellent communication abilities paired with strong organizational and client-facing skills. Willingness to work from the Austin office at least three days per week under the hybrid model.

In this senior position, you will oversee vertical structure projects from initial concept through to construction administration, guide a talented team of engineers, and actively engage in business development efforts.
