Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred). A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering, including leadership of complex projects and direct client engagement. Previous experience in Colorado is preferred. Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; a Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred. Proven experience in leading design teams and managing projects from concept through construction. Exceptional proficiency in Revit and familiarity with structural design and analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, RISA 3D, SAP2000, SAFE, or comparable tools. Strong communication and leadership capabilities, with a knack for mentoring and collaborating across disciplines. Demonstrated ability to balance technical depth with project management responsibilities and multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.

As a Senior Structural Project Manager, you will oversee projects from initial pursuit and conceptual design through to construction completion. Your expertise will guide clients and design partners, and you will actively mentor engineers, steering the team towards excellence. You will blend hands-on technical involvement with strategic project management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, practical solutions that align with our office's long-term growth objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Project Execution: Navigate complex structural projects through all phases, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to project goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Foster Growth: Contribute to business development initiatives, project pursuits, and practices that enhance team culture and technical standards.
  • Manage Client Relationships: Act as the primary client liaison, developing trusted partnerships and guiding strategic decisions to secure repeat business.
  • Oversee Design and Delivery: Direct the development of structural designs, specifications, and drawings, leveraging advanced engineering principles for efficient solutions.
  • Mentor Engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineers at all levels, fostering their professional growth through collaborative project work.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work in close coordination with architects, contractors, owners, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
