About the Systems Engineering Team
Systems engineers at Latitude AI integrate all parts of the autonomy stack into a unified product. The team works closely with cross-functional partners to define architecture, requirements, and test plans for a range of features and functionalities, including:
- Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) across multiple autonomy levels (L1, L2, L3), such as Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Base Park Aid, Lane Keeping & Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), L2 Hands-On and Hands-Free, and L3 Eyes-Free features.
- Onboard (vehicle) and offboard (cloud) autonomy functions, including Mapping, Prediction, and Motion Planning.
- Platform capabilities for both onboard and offboard systems, like Logging, Time Synchronization, Data Ingestion, and Over-the-Air Software Updates.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage systems engineering processes for multiple ADAS features and ensure their integration with Ford platforms.
- Draft requirements to support strong performance across features and functionalities, considering both standard operations and variations in vehicle or environmental conditions.
