Qualifications
Responsibilities:Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for core infrastructure systems, platforms, and services. Design, support, and enhance our global esports infrastructure. Collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team across engineering and operations. Establish technical standards and empower operations teams through documentation, automation, and coaching. Engage in global event support as required, including occasional non-standard working hours. Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in Systems, Support, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. Proficiency in using Ansible and Terraform for automation and configuration management. Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins). Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, AHV). Experience in designing and operating containerized workloads (e.g., Docker). Knowledge of imaging and deployment tools (e.g., FOG, SCCM, Autopilot). Expertise in both Linux and Windows systems. Proven track record of minimizing operational toil through automation. Desired Qualifications:Experience in building or maintaining global infrastructure and systems at scale. Ability to define and implement monitoring, alerting, and observability standards. Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash). Experience with Git for version control. Experience managing infrastructure in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Relevant certifications such as RHCE or RHCSA, or equivalent hands-on experience, are a plus.
