About the job
Join Anduril Industries, a pioneering defense technology company dedicated to revolutionizing U. S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology. Our mission is to integrate the innovative expertise, technology, and business models of 21st-century advancements into the defense sector. At the forefront of this transformation, Anduril utilizes Lattice OS, an AI-driven operating system that synthesizes vast data streams into an interactive, 3D command and control interface. As we navigate an era of strategic competition, we're committed to delivering advanced autonomy, artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technologies to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
As part of the Connected Warfare (CW) Division, Anduril Engineers collaborate across multiple disciplines to design, deploy, integrate, and enhance our software and hardware systems, ensuring mission-critical capabilities reach our customers at the tactical edge. Tactical Network Engineers within the ECC (Edge Compute and Comms) team are at the forefront of tackling technical challenges in operational scenarios while overseeing the entire delivery process of innovative capabilities from inception to realization.
In your role as a Tactical Network Engineer, you will merge leading-edge commercial communication technologies with traditional military radio systems to swiftly prototype and develop new solutions that address diverse customer challenges, spanning software, hardware, networking, autonomy/robotics, and systems integration. Your expertise will ensure seamless collaboration between Anduril’s products and third-party systems, driving critical operational outcomes.
With a steadfast "Whatever It Takes" mindset, ECC Engineers execute projects in an efficient, scalable, and systematic manner, always prioritizing the mission and making informed engineering decisions to achieve high-quality results on schedule. You will be instrumental in introducing new technologies and enhancing products like the Menace Family of Systems, delivering integrated C4 (Compute, Comms, Command, and Control) capabilities to the tactical edge.
Our C4 systems are designed to operate in highly dynamic and adversarial DDIL (Denied, Degraded, Intermittent, Limited) environments, where nodes experience varying link quality and availability, changing network topologies, and constant threats including electronic warfare and physical destruction. Additionally, our systems are deployed in austere combat zones lacking robust infrastructure.
