Key Responsibilities of the Senior Tax Analyst
Lead the end-to-end in-house preparation and filing of US Sales and Use Tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely remittance across all nexus jurisdictions.
Serve as the primary internal contact for global VAT/GST filings, coordinating data flow and conducting thorough reviews of returns prepared by external service providers.
Act as the project lead for implementing an automated solution for US SUT return preparation and filing, transitioning manual processes into scalable, technology-driven workflows.
Research and evaluate software and managed service options for global indirect tax automation to facilitate Collibra's ongoing international growth.
Coordinate data flow from NetSuite, ensuring internal filings and external partner workpapers are based on a "single source of truth."
Prepare journal entries, maintain detailed documentation for tax accruals, and perform monthly reconciliations of all global indirect tax accounts and systems.
Assist the Senior Tax Manager and Tax Manager in managing direct tax workflows.

As a member of Collibra’s Global Tax Team, you will engage with a progressive group committed to enhancing our financial infrastructure as we expand internationally. Reporting directly to the Tax Director, your core responsibility will be overseeing the daily operations and management of our global indirect tax function.
You will take charge of our US Sales and Use Tax (SUT) filings while serving as the internal lead for our international compliance process in collaboration with external partners. A significant aspect of this role is driving digital transformation; you will spearhead the implementation of an automated solution for US SUT return preparation and filing, while also identifying and assessing long-term automation strategies for our global operations. You will enhance the overall efficiency of the department by supporting direct tax reporting, filings, and various workflows, particularly during peak periods.
