What You Will Do Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical initiatives focused on enhancing overall game quality, stability, and performance for Pokémon GO. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical strategies, comprehend system architecture, and gather requirements for quality-related projects. Act as the central point of contact for technical quality initiatives, coordinating efforts across engineering, QA, product, and other teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration. Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve technical, procedural, and logistical issues that could affect Pokémon GO's quality. Design and refine processes and tools for quality assurance, contributing to sustainable development practices and improving team productivity. Define, collect, and analyze quality metrics, providing insights into product delivery and ensuring continuous enhancement in work quality. Communicate project status, goals, and risks effectively to stakeholders, including both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.

Join us as a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) for quality initiatives in Pokémon GO, based in our Bellevue, WA or San Francisco offices, operating on a hybrid work model.

In this role, you will spearhead quality-driven technical programs by defining, scoping, and executing cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing the game's stability, performance, and overall player experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing technical risks, fostering collaboration between engineering and other teams, instituting effective feedback and review processes, and establishing quality metrics that align with Pokémon GO's ambitious standards and objectives.

You will also coordinate our release process with partners from mobile platforms such as Apple's App Store and Google’s Developer Console.
