5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager on cross-team initiatives or as an engineering manager/director. Previous experience as a Software Engineer is a plus. A robust technical foundation in architecture, infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability basics. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven experience in managing cross-team projects where formal authority is not present. Analytical mindset with a strong approach to data and survey results. Familiarity with planning tools and a willingness to adapt them as necessary.

The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Dev Tools and Observability teams, either in Amsterdam or remotely. The Dev Tools team oversees the entire journey of a developer, from the initial code writing on their laptop to the deployment of applications in Kubernetes or other orchestrators. Our Observability Platform integrates logs, metrics, traces, and various services into a cohesive ecosystem, facilitating the monitoring of application performance and health. This role carries significant implications across a wide array of products.

The responsibilities include establishing feedback loops with engineering teams, spearheading AI-related experiments, and enhancing our planning and processes to achieve greater maturity. This hands-on position emphasizes structuring workflows, driving initiatives forward, and ensuring measurable results.
