We are on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Technical Recruiter to spearhead our talent acquisition efforts, driving Skydio's growth by recruiting top-tier engineering and operations professionals. You will manage end-to-end hiring processes for our key engineering sectors, including Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, and Hardware Operations. While your primary focus will be one of these areas, flexibility to adapt to evolving hiring needs is essential. PLEASE NOTE: We have adopted a hybrid model, with three days a week in the office. This role will be based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA, with occasional visits to our manufacturing facility in Hayward, CA.

Your Impact:

  • Serve as the primary recruiting expert and trusted advisor to hiring leaders and interview panels within your designated functions.

  • Diligently pursue top talent, build strong candidate pipelines, create engaging candidate experiences, and secure outstanding hires across specialized and competitive skill sets.

  • Leverage a deep understanding of Skydio’s unique offerings to effectively attract and engage top talent.

  • Implement structured interview processes and decision-making frameworks to uphold our rigorous hiring standards.

  • Cultivate collaborative partnerships with Hiring Managers, People Operations, and Compensation teams to achieve successful hiring outcomes.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate recruiting bottlenecks, enhance recruitment processes, and mentor junior team members.

  • Contribute as a vital member of a dynamic startup recruiting team.

Your Qualifications:

  • Extensive recruitment experience in at least two of the following areas: Cloud, Mobile, Infrastructure, Embedded Systems, Wireless Technologies, Camera/Optics, Hardware Engineering, or Hardware Operations.

  • Demonstrated success in hiring for complex technical roles within fast-paced environments.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.
