We are in search of an experienced editor or a talented journalist ready to transition into an editorial role. This position will involve assigning and refining captivating stories that reveal the realities faced by individuals working in technology and launching new ventures within this dynamic industry, offering insights that resonate with our business readership.
The Senior Technology Editor will supervise a team of reporters primarily located on the West Coast, covering diverse beats from large language models to robotics companies. Our tech team operates globally, and we are looking for someone who excels in cross-regional collaboration.
This role demands strategic thinking regarding our coverage balance, innovative reporting approaches, and mentoring reporters in effective tip-gathering and sourcing. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about leading their team, adaptable to the fast-paced newsroom environment, and thrives in a collaborative, inclusive, and enjoyable workplace.
This position reports to the Tech Executive Editor. While we prefer candidates based in the Bay Area, we are open to applicants from other prominent tech hubs.
