Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in requirements-based testing, preferably utilizing ARP4754A, DO-178C, or similar guidelines. Familiarity with requirements management tools such as Polarion or DOORS. Exceptional technical writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Who We Are Seeking:

We are in search of a skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our Flight Control Systems Team. This position emphasizes the verification and testing of Archer's advanced fly-by-wire flight control system, including its subsystems and integration with various aircraft systems such as avionics, power distribution, and engines. Candidates should possess robust testing experience and the capability to execute complex test campaigns effectively.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the flight control system, its architecture, and the detailed design of all subsystems and components.
  • Create and implement requirements-based tests for the eVTOL Flight Control System.
  • Collaborate with team members to correlate test results with analytical predictions.
  • Analyze test data to validate the performance of tested components.
  • Ensure testing adheres to FAA, DoD, and other aviation standards.
  • Confirm that the scope of tests aligns with aircraft certification requirements.
  • Compile technical reports that detail test outcomes.
