Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline; a Master's Degree is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in NVH testing and analysis within the automotive sector, preferably with a focus on Heavy-Duty trucks. Expertise in NVH measurement and analysis techniques, including frequency response analysis, noise source identification, and subjective sound quality assessments. Experience with Siemens LMS data acquisition and analysis tools is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills to systematically identify NVH issues, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Proficient in MS Office Suite for engineering documentation and presentations. Proven experience collaborating with diverse teams is essential.

About the job

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing product development and verification processes across various components and complete vehicle systems. This position requires you to assess and validate the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) performance of our products through a combination of physical testing, data collection, simulation, and in-depth data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and define testing methodologies aligned with project specifications.
  • Engage collaboratively with cross-functional teams to effectively plan, manage, and execute testing operations.
  • Interpret test results, delivering actionable insights and recommendations within specific technical domains.
  • Document findings comprehensively through engineering reports and manage fault reports derived from testing activities.
  • Drive continuous improvements in NVH testing processes and analysis techniques.
