What You Will DoDesign, analyze, and procure a comprehensive range of lifting and transportation fixtures and handling equipment for specialty hardware. Collaborate closely with relevant engineers to fulfill stringent technical and operational specifications. Implement industry standards and applicable regulations to ensure best practices for future designs and enhance existing ones. Evaluate all lift and transport fixture designs for structural integrity under both dynamic and static loads. Create and/or review detailed CAD models, finite element analysis (FEA), and mechanical fabrication drawings for all custom fixtures and handling equipment.

The Senior Tooling and Ground Support Equipment Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and procuring bespoke handling equipment for lifting, in-factory movement, and overland transportation of Pacific Fusion’s large-scale custom hardware. You will leverage your expertise in heavy lifts, specialty rigging, and factory movements to develop innovative solutions that address unique installation and transportation challenges across multiple sites, all within tight timelines. This position requires you to work onsite at our Los Lunas, New Mexico facility.
