The Senior Trade Compliance Analyst manages import and export compliance for high volumes of shipments. This position requires careful attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively during core collaboration hours from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM PST (approximately 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM CET). Flexible working hours are available to accommodate these requirements.
What you will do
- Classification: Determine HTS and ECCN codes for parts and technology using technical specifications and engineering data.
- Regulatory filings: Prepare and submit documents to customs and regulatory bodies, such as AES/EEI filings, to ensure compliance.
- Sanctions screening: Screen companies and individuals to comply with global trade sanctions and embargoes.
- Shipment coordination: Respond to customs-related inquiries from brokers to prevent shipment delays.
- Documentation management: Check commercial invoices, packing lists, and HAWBs from global suppliers for accuracy and completeness.
- Data maintenance: Keep trade master data (values, origins, part numbers) up to date in ERP systems and internal databases.
- Audit and records: Organize and maintain digital records of all import and export activities to ensure audit readiness.

- Comfort working during core hours that overlap with US Pacific Time
