Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport Systems Engineering.3-5 years of relevant experience in transport planning and modeling. Proven experience in transportation planning studies, traffic analysis or modeling, and the design of transportation or traffic infrastructure. Proficiency in transport modeling software such as PTV VISUM, VISSIM, SATURN, Synchro, Sidra, Junctions, or LinSIG. Familiarity with transportation planning standards in the US, UK, and Ireland (e.g., FHWA, AASHTO, DFT/Highways England Standards, TSM Chapter 6). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Proven ability to work effectively in international, cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Transport Systems or Civil Engineering from Politechnika Warszawska or WAT or a relevant university.

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Transport Planning Assistant and play a pivotal role in supporting international road design and infrastructure initiatives with a particular focus on the UK, Ireland, and US markets. Based in Poland, you will work closely with diverse teams to develop innovative transport strategies, analyze traffic flows, and aid in the planning of efficient and sustainable road networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee traffic engineering and transport planning, delivering modeling solutions across various transport projects.

  • Assist in technical documentation, including reports, drawings, and presentations under the mentorship of senior staff.

  • Engage in traffic design for junctions, pedestrian crossings, traffic signal schemes, and more.

  • Work on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Traffic Engineering & Operations (TEO), and Traffic Management Center (TMC) projects.

  • Support feasibility studies, impact assessments, and mobility planning efforts.

  • Collaborate with engineering, urban planning, and environmental teams on international projects.

  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate effectively with global teams across different time zones.

  • Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of transport planning methodologies through continuous improvement and innovation.
