As a Senior Transportation Engineer specializing in Roadway design, you will take the lead on diverse transportation projects encompassing urban and rural highways, interchanges, and municipal roadways. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of complex, high-priority projects that involve collaboration across multiple teams. You will guide the Roadway team, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our engineering solutions, and contribute to the overall vision of delivering excellence in our projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-level project design and review project documentation to ensure design quality for complex projects.
  • Act as a technical specialist, utilizing advanced engineering concepts to solve intricate design challenges.
  • Conduct thorough QA/QC processes to ensure that completed designs adhere to quality standards and project objectives.
  • Engage in research activities addressing significant and complex areas within transportation engineering.
  • Provide direction to team members regarding design strategies to meet project specifications effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance efficiencies and produce high-quality outputs.
  • Contribute to the establishment of engineering standards and guidelines within the team.
  • Supervise and evaluate technical work of junior staff, assisting in their professional development and mentoring.
  • Foster strong client relationships, ensuring that our projects not only meet but exceed client expectations.
