Role overview
The Senior Valves and Actuator Engineer will work on the design, development, testing, and production of valves and actuators for the Nova vehicle. This includes responsibility for both in-house and commercially sourced components, such as engine flow control valves, large propellant valves, high-pressure gas valves, throttle valve actuators, and engine gimbal thrust vector control actuators.
What you will do
- Lead the entire lifecycle of valve and actuator designs, from initial definition through manufacturing, testing, and qualification.
- Develop components for both stages and engines of the Nova launch vehicle.
- Work closely with a mission-driven team focused on rapid iteration and in-house manufacturing.
- Create designs that balance reliability with manufacturability.
